LOSING ACCESS TO US15 AND THOMAS JOHNSON IN MARCH!!

Now that the traffic light at Opossumtown Pike & Christopher’s Crossing is operational, the City of Frederick wants to remove the 4-way stop at Christopher’s Crossing & TimberGrove Road. They will also add “No left turn” and/or “Right turn only” signs and build an island to reinforce “No left turns” onto Christopher’s Crossing from either direction! This will remove our direct access to US-15 and Thomas Johnson Drive and increase traffic on McClellan Drive!

Sign the petition to stop this action. It will be delivered to the Frederick Mayor and Aldermen prior to the February 23, 2022 Workshop regarding these changes.

Find the listing for the February 23rd workshop; click on "View Agenda", then scroll down to this subject and hit the “Comment” button (note: you may have to create an account).
Contact all of your Aldermen at https://www.cityoffrederickmd.gov/. Put the cursor over “Government”, click on “Ask your Aldermen” on the left, complete the form.
