Dear Resident,
These certainly are challenging times for all homeowners, residents, and the nation. COVID-19 has changed how we congregate (if at all), how we engage people (from a distance), and how we conduct business (telework from home).
While the COVID-19 pandemic has added a substantial level of stress to both our personal and professional lives, we will rebound from this ordeal. The virus will recede, and the economy will recover. Before that can happen however, we must follow the directives that our Governors have issued, to flatten the curve of this pandemic as aggressively as we can.
Clagett Management believes that:
We are making every effort to scale down our operations to … limit interactions with customers, vendors, and with other employees at the office.” We will still be able to virtually handle the normal day to day operations such as answering emails, following up with contractors, providing 24-hour emergency service, processing architectural applications virtually, emergency and safety inspections, processing accounts receivables and payables, reconciling accounts, and holding virtual board meetings, if the Board wishes to do so.
We are making every effort to use our technology and we are currently investigating new technology which will support our customers, managers, staff and offices virtually.
We encourage all residents and managers to adhere to the Governor’s stay-at-home order. We will continue to do what we can virtually. What we all must avoid is any external activity that violates the spirit of the Governor’s order, which could cause the virus to spread. This includes the closing of playgrounds, clubhouses, pavilions, fitness centers, dog parks, and any common areas where gatherings may occur.
Pool Seasons will most likely be delayed and/or cancelled for 2020. Managers are in discussions with your contractors and will update those communities with pool facilities.
Clagett will continue to share information as needed with our residents. Our staff and legal teams will continue to provide interpretation and analysis to help you move through this ordeal as safely and effectively as possible.
We will need to be united as Communities of our great states to support the Governor’s orders, to flatten the curve, and to beat this pandemic.
We wish you good health.
Sincerely,
Thomas G. Clagett
President, Clagett Management, LLC.
